Tom Felton accepts Niall Horan’s request to depict him in a fictional movie about One Direction.

The 25-year-old Harry Potter actor is rooting for the British boy band and he is happy about their success.

Last month group member Niall Horan told Yahoo! that he would love to see Tom depict him in a fictional movie version of One Direction’s story, and the thespian is excited about the prospect.

“I heard this. I read this. Niall is one of the wonderful members of One Direction,” Tom told MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival.

“They are awesome. They are a dominating force.”

Tom is willing to undergo a dramatic transformation to potentially portray Niall, saying he would do “whatever” to look like the singer.

Although no new One Direction feature film is lined up just yet, Tom feels honoured Niall thinks he’d do a better job playing the undeveloped role than other respected Hollywood actors.

“Oddly… what’s really sweet is the rest of them have said like Tom Cruise, Leonardo [DiCaprio] and then Niall said Tom Felton. He’s blonde, yeah. I could dye it, whatever,” he said. “It’s very flattering and I’m a big Directioner.”

One Direction recently released their concert tour documentary entitled This Is Us.

The Morgan Spurlock film, starring boy band members Niall, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Liam Payne, has earned $23.9 million domestically and $49.9 million internationally since it hit cinemas last month.

Simon Cowell, who signed the band to his record label, claims it is highly likely they will film a sequel.

“Yeah, for sure. We’d love to do another movie with them,” Simon told MTV last week. “But they’ve got this massive tour next year, so we’ve got to work into their schedule, hopefully.”

One Direction’s Take Me Home tour ends in October and they will hit the road again for their Where We Are concert series in April 2014.

Richard Curtis has said it is “unlikely” he will write the third Bridget Jones film.

However, the About Time filmmaker, who wrote the previous two films, hinted that he may not even be involved if Helen Fielding‘s third book got a big-screen outing.

“I think all this Bridget stuff is very confusing and I think it’s very unlikely that I will be involved,” he said.

The 56-year-old added: “But the book is coming out and I’m very excited about that. Helen is pretty confident that it is funny, so I am looking forward to that.”

Richard, who has said he will hang up his directing hat, is writing the screenplay for a TV film, based on Roald Dahl‘s Esio Trot, starring Dame Judi Dench and Dustin Hoffman.

“It’s an adaptation of a Roald Dahl book, who is our modern-day Charles Dickens – he’s such a genius,” he continued.

“It’s a romantic film about two people later in life who fall in love through the medium of tortoises. It’s a TV movie and is just meant to bring joy at Christmas or Easter.”

Matthew McConaughey was given a standing ovation after his new movie Dallas Buyers Club premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The actor plays an HIV positive man who smuggles medication into the US in the 80s and his performance, which is already generating Oscar buzz, wowed the Toronto crowd.

Matthew lost nearly 50 pounds to star in the true story of Ron Woodroof, but told the film festival audience that shedding the pounds wasn’t the hard part.

“That was the easy decision,” he said. “I would have been embarrassed standing here looking like I do now playing the guy. That really wouldn’t have worked.”

Jared Leto also stars in the film as a drug-addicted transsexual and revealed that the chance to work with Matthew was one of the reasons he signed up.

“Matthew McConaughey is doing something spectacular with his life, with his career, and I wanted to be a part of that,” he said.

“He’s doing some of the most incredibly inspiring work. That was a huge part of my decision. I said, ‘If he’s willing to walk down this path, I gotta get in the ring with him. That’s somebody I want to dance with’.”

Nicole Kidman might be set to replace her best friend Naomi Watts in upcoming film Queen Of The Desert.

Naomi was tipped to star in the period drama about British writer, traveller, archaeologist and spy Gertrude Bell, but Deadline reports that she is exiting the film.

And it seems her fellow Aussie Nicole is now in talks to take over the part in Werner Herzog‘s movie.

It won’t be the first casting switch, as earlier this year Jude Law left the project and was replaced by James Franco.

Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson also has a role in the movie.

Meanwhile, Naomi – whose new film Diana, Princess of Wales has been panned by critics – is in talks for new thriller Holland, Michigan.

The film will be directed by Oscar-winning documentarian Errol Morris.

Simon Cowell’s new girlfriend Lauren Silverman is apparently unhappy with how involved his ex-girlfriends are in his life.

The music mogul is expecting a baby with Lauren Silverman, who is the ex-wife of one of his friends, Andrew.

Simon is renowned for staying on good terms with his previous partners and regularly holidays with former lovers Mezhgan Hussainy and Sinitta. Lauren has apparently asked him to rethink this tradition.

“Lauren has told Simon she’s not keen on raising a baby with a group of women on the scene and that she would prefer him to spend less time with Mezhgan,” an insider told British magazine Heat.

Mezhgan and Simon were previously engaged, with the star admitting he hadn’t been a good partner when they split. They remain close though, with his former fiancée and Sinitta accompanying him to the UK premiere of One Direction movie This Is Us.

Despite their closeness, Simon apparently understands he needs to put Lauren and their baby first.

“Simon insists they’re his best friends. He won’t get rid of them for good, but he’s willing to compromise for Lauren,” the insider added.

Jackie St Clair is another of Simon’s former girlfriends and it’s been claimed she and Sinitta are both hoping to win the role of godmother when the tot is born next February.

It’s unknown who Simon will pick, with both women apparently already raising the matter with him.

“There are a lot of women in his life and he is still very close to all of his exes. But it is Sinitta and Jackie who want to be godmother to his baby. It’s tricky because they really don’t get on. If Simon chooses one it could be a real blow to the other,” a source told Sunday People.

“They have both offered to babysit and are willing to help Lauren out when he is away working.

“Sinitta has already spoken to Simon about organising a ceremony after the baby is born. That is something he really wants.”

James Corden has confessed he is finding the prospect of working with Meryl Streep “terrifying”.

The Gavin And Stacey star is about to begin filming the big screen adaptation of the Tony-award winning Broadway musical about a witch, played by Meryl, who conspires to teach important lessons to various characters of popular children’s stories including Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack And The Beanstalk and Rapunzel.

James revealed: “I’m shooting a film at the moment called Into The Woods with Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp, and we’ve started rehearsing, which is slightly terrifying.

“I’ve not met Johnny yet. But most of my scenes are with Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt. It’s thrilling, it’s brilliant.”

The film is being directed by Chicago’s Rob Marshall.

James’ new sitcom The Wrong Mans, which he co-wrote with Mathew Baynton – is about to begin on BBC Two.

The show is about two hapless office workers inadvertently caught up in a criminal conspiracy, and while the lads admit they were inspired by many of their favourite action films, they are not sure if they would want to make it into a film.

James revealed: “A lot of people since we finished the show have been like ‘You could make a movie of this.’ And much as we haven’t discounted it – then they’d be in the world of film.

“As a film, it’s a film that you’ve seen. This world exists as films, and brilliant films. And the thrill for us was we didn’t know if it could exist as six-part half hour comedy.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus remembers Enough Said co-star James Gandolfini as a “thoughtful, dear, sweet” and “self-deprecating” man.

The late actor features alongside former Seinfeld star Julia Louis-Dreyfus in the Nicole Holofcener romantic comedy.

James, who died in June at age 51, plays a man Julia’s divorced character pursues until discovering he is her new friend’s ex-husband.

Promoting the movie at the Toronto Film Festival, Julia said she will always have fond memories of the Sopranos legend and believes audiences will connect deeply to this new character.

“The character he plays in this film is very close to who James Gandolfini was,” she told Access Hollywood. “Thoughtful, dear, sweet, self-deprecating. That’s really who he was in the nicest of ways.”

Julia remembers James as a skilled actor who often used his personal life as inspiration for his role.

She recalled how during one scene he surprised her with his sensitivity and wit.

“The thing about Jim in this movie, he’s really a big guy and he I think even within the film he says, ‘Can you breathe when I’m on top of you?’ and I’m fairly certain that he improvised that because he was very self-conscious about [his size],” she continued.

“He didn’t wanna crush me in the bed scenes that we had together, the love scenes. But in fact, this character is so physically imposing, so you can understand fully why he not only is a phenomenal actor, but why he fit the role of Tony Soprano as well as he did.”

Enough Said will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday.

It’s scheduled to hit cinemas across the US in September.

Caroline Flack was apparently searched at an airport after her knickers set off the metal detectors.

The Xtra Factor presenter was travelling with co-hosts Dermot O’Leary and Matt Richardson when the embarrassing incident occurred, The Sun has said.

She was at Marseille airport on her way back from Louis Walsh’s judges’ houses round in St Tropez and had to remove her jewellery, but when the alarms still kept going off she was frisked and asked to step behind a screen.

Caroline, 33, emerged a minute later laughing, in time to catch her flight.

A friend said: “Caroline had some studding detail on her underwear that set off the alarm. She was a bit embarrassed but saw the funny side.”
