Justin: Jess is my no 1

The American singer-and-actor tied the knot with wife Jessica Biel in Italy last October after first getting together in 2007.

Before settling down Justin dated other famous beauties including Cameron Diaz, Jenna Dewan and Britney Spears.

However, he felt his bond with Jessica was strong enough to make it official and he loves how their relationship gives him more security in his life.

“My family will always be first and foremost. That’s the most I’ll say about it without getting too personal,” he told independent.co.uk. “I wouldn’t have taken that step if I didn’t have a moment to realise that this is how much more grounded I want my life to be.”

The couple are teaming up to co-produce a documentary film titled The Short Game, which follows a group of junior golfers. Justin is glad the venture has gone ahead as he and Jessica feel strongly about the stars of the film and hope to share their story with the world.

“We are both big fans of these kids and the message that comes from that movie is wonderful and will bring you so much joy,” he added.

Another thing Justin feels strongly about is his Runner Runner co-star Ben Affleck being cast as the new Batman. Despite the 31-year-old star receiving negative comments over his role, Justin believes his close friend will do an amazing job and admits he has learnt a lot from the actor.

“I think he’s going to make a great Batman. Working with Ben was extremely informative. I learned a lot,” Justin gushed. “I feel like we were the same way in the sense that he’s experienced being the biggest movie star in the world and now to be considered a great film-maker; it’s a whole new career for him.”

Timberlake: I want to re-work musicals new Justin Timberlake wants to bring …

Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake wants to bring his own flair to musical movies.

The former ‘N Sync singer appears in Inside Llewyn Davis with Carey Mulligan and got to show off his vocal skills in the flick about the 1960s folk scene in New York City.

Now that he’s tackled both acting and music, he plans on combining the experiences to transform entertainment for good.

“Funnily enough, I have a film with one of the national treasures here, Carey Mulligan, the Cohen Brothers film, which was actually the first time I’ve ever got to sing in a movie,” Justin shared on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man TV show.

“The funny thing about me is I’ve been trying to find a way to modernise and re-work the musical, so I’ve been pitching people more than they’ve been pitching me about stuff like that.

“I think there could be something interesting on how to do it.”

Justin’s other recent movie credits include 2010 drama The Social Network as well as 2011’s Friends with Benefits. The 32-year-old hitmaker admits he worried his peers would assume he had a big ego on set but he soon realised his co-workers had bigger things to focus on.

“At the end of the day you know, when everyone’s on set, you’re there to work, so you just kind of head down, and you do your work, and I think at some point… Hollywood‘s such a small town and I think at some point, they start to pass that around,” he shared. “But I think I probably got away with really low expectations, so it was great for me.

“I think they probably thought I would be coming in with a huge writer, dressing room… so I think they had low expectations.”

Inside Llewyn Davis is scheduled for US release in December.

Radcliffe on Football dream

Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe harbours secret dreams of becoming an American football player.

The actor rose to fame playing Harry Potter in the popular movie franchise and has since then taken on stage projects like Equus and creepy film The Woman in Black.

Standing at just 5ft 5in tall and weighing roughly 126lbs, Daniel might not be an obvious choice for the very physical game.

However, he harbours secret dreams of commanding the playing field, where the average player is around 6ft and weighs about 238lbs.

“I am not quite built for that. If I was 80lb heavier, I’d be the best running back the game has ever seen. I have the right mentality,” he laughed to British newspaper The Sun.

Daniel, 24, has been keeping himself busy with projects Horns and Allen Ginsberg biopic Kill Your Darlings.

For him, putting the sport on TV is a means of switching off.

“[It helps me] focus on something different for a while,” he explained.

It seems that the British star might even have some spare time to watch games.

He’d been rumoured to play Freddie Mercury in an upcoming Queen biopic, but Daniel shot down the gossip.

“Everyone on the internet who I presume is saying I’m totally wrong for that part is correct. I am completely wrong for that part!” he recently declared.

“If I’d seen a rumour about me playing Iggy Pop, I’d think, ‘Hey, I’d have a go at that – that’d be fun!’, but Freddie Mercury? No. I don’t even know who the director is. They seem to be saying it’s Stephen Frears and Tom Hooper on the internet.”

Jackman: Wolverine toys are weird

Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman finds it “uncomfortable” to know toys that look like him are on sale.

The actor stars in the Wolverine franchise, and the X-Men character has spawned a successful merchandise range. Hugh wonders what people who own toys in his likeness do with them in the privacy of their own home.

“There’s something a little uncomfortable about seeing toys that actually do look like you,” he told British magazine Shortlist. “Then I always imagine people are stuffing it in their freezer or sticking pins in it.”

Hugh’s latest big screen outing is in Prisoners. In the crime thriller, the hunk plays a father who goes in search of his missing daughter and her friend after losing faith in a detective.

The movie has a twist at the end, but Hugh admits he never saw it coming when he first read the script.

“No. I’m very gullible,” he laughed. “I’m the last person to catch anything in any movie.”

Hugh’s character Keller Dover is a carpenter and a staunch survivalist in the film.

At first, the star was sceptical about Keller’s strong beliefs – but a trip to Canada made him think again.

“I was a little judgmental about the survivalist movement. I was like, ‘C’mon, do we really need six months’ worth of tinned ham in the basement?’ But maybe it is a little naive to think that someone has got you covered. To think that the government will sort it out,” he said. “Interestingly, I was recently in Montreal and there was something wrong with the water supply to the city so no one was allowed to drink tap water for 24 hours. And I thought… ‘What if that was a week? What if it was two weeks?’ You realise we do have a collective trust and I’m not sure it’s 100 per cent earned.”

Portman gushes over Grey

The 32-year-old beauty is a massive fan of the actress’ 1987 hit film Dirty Dancing, which also starred Patrick Swayze.

Having watched the film countless times Natalie can’t contain her excitement when she sees the fellow Jewish actress at their local synagogue for worship.

“Yes [I’ve met Jennifer]. We go to temple together. And I freak out every time I see her – I’m such a nerd!” she laughed to the November issue of British magazine Elle. “She kind of gets the ‘polite eyes’ when she comes, because she knows I’m going to jump on her. I wish I weren’t as nervous as I am around her. I can’t get over it.”

Natalie can’t help but gush about her favourite movie each time she and Jennifer meet. However, when trying to recall their discussions the brunette beauty admitted she becomes overwhelmed with emotion thinking about their regular encounters.

“Of course [we talk about Dirty Dancing]! I can’t talk about it too much, or I’ll start getting teary,” she confessed. “There are other movies I love, but no other movie that I have watched over and over.”

The Oscar-winning actress has son two-year-old son Aleph with husband Benjamin Millepied.

Natalie loves being a mother and claims raising a child has made the movie industry seem simpler.

“Yes – acting feels really easy,” Natalie revealed when asked whether parenting has changed her attitude to work. “I love being a mom, but it’s much more intensive work than being an actress – going to work feels like you’ve got a day off. Not that I want a day off from being a mom, it’s just perhaps I had this impression before that moms don’t work. But they work more than anyone.”

Gere heading for divorce?

Richard Gere and Carey Lowell

Richard Gere and Carey Lowell have reportedly split up because their lifestyles are too different.

The actor has been married to Carey for 11 years, but New York Post‘s Page Six claims the stars have now separated and are planning the legal details.

Apparently their split has been a long time coming.

“One source close to the couple said they’ve ‘been spending time apart for quite some time,'” the website writes.

Richard and Carey haven’t been spotted together since a screening of the actor’s film Arbitrage last year.

It could be their very different lifestyles taking their toll; while Richard reportedly prefers the quiet, his wife likes to socialise with other movie stars.

“They have a place in Bedford [New York], and he likes it because it’s quiet and he likes the solitude,” an insider said.

“She likes being in North Haven in the limelight. They live next door to Jimmy Buffett and his family, and they’re good friends.”

It’s allegedly unclear when exactly the pair, who have son Homer together, will file for divorce.

Should they really go through with it, it will be Richard’s second divorce.

The 64-year-old actor was married to Cindy Crawford between 1991 and 1995.

Carey, 52, was previously married to Griffin Dunne and John Stember.

Douglas and CZJ ‘staying strong’

The couple have been married for 13 years, but recently announced they are taking a break.

Although they aren’t currently living together, insiders insist the stars are fighting to save the relationship.

“They’re not giving up,” a source close to Catherine told People.

It has been reported the pair – who share the same birthday, September 25 – won’t be celebrating together today. Michael is currently in New Mexico filming his new movie The Reach, while Catherine will spend the day in New York with their two children.

Despite their current distance, sources claim the couple have been speaking to each other several times every day.

Michael made his feelings for Catherine clear at the Emmy Awards on Sunday. He thanked his wife as he accepted his prize for best actor in a miniseries or movie for his performance as Liberace in Behind the Candelabra.

The 69-year-old star also addressed rumours circulating about his marriage, denying that divorce was on the cards.

“Catherine is great. She is doing wonderful, talked to her today [and] just got a lovely note from her. I’m very hopeful that we’re going to work things out,” Michael said at the ceremony. “As I said we’re just taking a break, a couple issues, sometimes you gotta do that.”

Catherine, who turns 44 today, didn’t attend the glitzy ceremony as she was at a promotional event in China over the weekend.

Pudsey movie thrown into chaos

Pudsey suffered from tummy trouble, according to reports

The Pudsey movie was thrown into chaos when the Britain’s Got Talent dog became ill on set, according to reports.

The Sun said that the dancing pooch, who won the show in 2012 with trainer Ashleigh, became ill after eating too many ham sandwiches.

Filming came to a halt and the Border Collie-Bichon Frise was rushed to a vet for x-rays.

A source told the newspaper: “Pudsey just wasn’t being himself last Sunday and then started writhing around in agony.

“Producers had a fit as he’s the star and the movie still has some way to go. He’s in virtually every scene so production had to be shut down, costing thousands.”

The source added: “It appeared he’d just been scoffing too much rich human food which didn’t agree with him.”

Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams is set to voice the dog in the fictional film, Pudsey: The Movie.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones ‘apart for birthdays’

The pair married in 2000, but recently revealed that they are currently on a “break”.

Catherine and Michael were both born on September 25, but 25 years apart.

The Chicago actress turns 44 tomorrow, while Michael will reach the age of 69, but according to Radar Online they won’t be celebrating together.

“Michael left Los Angeles soon after his Emmys win and is back on set and working again,” a source told the website. “He will not be in New York for his birthday. He and Catherine will be spending their birthdays apart.”

Catherine is currently in the Big Apple after returning from China, where she attended an event to announce the launch of a film studio.

The couple have two children together, who Catherine will reportedly be seeing to celebrate her special day.

“Catherine will spend her birthday with Carys and Dylan,” the insider continued.

Michael took home the Emmy Award for best actor in a miniseries or movie for his portrayal of Liberace in Behind the Candelabra.

When picking up his prize he made a touching speech, in which he mentioned his wife and children, including his son Cameron, 35, who is currently serving a ten-year prison sentence.

He also opened up about his troubled marriage to Catherine at the event.

“Catherine is great. She is doing wonderful, talked to her today [and] just got a lovely note from her. I’m very hopeful that we’re going to work things out,” he told Access Hollywood.

“As I said we’re just taking a break, a couple issues, sometimes you gotta do that.”

Geoffrey Rush is being linked to a role in Gods Of Egypt

Geoffrey Rush is being linked to a role in Gods Of Egypt

Geoffrey Rush is set to join fantasy adventure Gods Of Egypt.

The King’s Speech star has reportedly “closed a deal” to play sun god Ra, the father of Set and Osiris who is also Set’s ultimate target, said The Hollywood Reporter‘s Heat Vision blog.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is already on board to play Horus, who sets out for revenge against his uncle for killing his father Osiris.

Gerard Butler is said to be in talks to play Set, Osiris’ murderous brother and a god of the desert, storms and foreigners.

Egyptian filmmaker Alex Proyas – who directed The Crow and I, Robot – would take the reins and would also share screenwriting credits with Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazamat on Gods Of Egypt, which is set amidst the mythology of ancient Egypt.

Australian-born Geoffrey, who has played pirate captain Hector Barbossa in the Pirates Of The Caribbean films and was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as speech therapist Lionel Logue in Tom Hooper’s The King’s Speech, will next star in the big-screen adaptation of Markus Zusak’s novel The Book Thief.

The 62-year-old is also expected to reprise his role as Barbossa opposite Johnny Depp in the fifth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie, Dead Men Tell No Tales.
