To tell you the truth , I really don’t know that much about Commander Cody. Sure, my son is hooked on the animated television show and we have a many episodes of them digitally recorded . I’m pretty sure I’ve even sat and watched an episode or three with him, but I couldn’t tell you what happened in them . It seemed like a lot of war and battles which, I’m pretty certain, it is, so I spaced out during the show and couldn’t tell you anything about them . It wasn’t until I started looking for a Commander Cody Costume
that I realised some Clones have their own names and that there are many more story lines and plots going on than I was ever aware of.
Did you know Clone Commander Cody’s real name is CC-2224? Well, I sure didn’t! I learned that, along with a lot of other unusual information when I started researching Commander Cody online. There is a plethora of info out there on Cody, Star Wars, and Star Wars Clone Wars. By saying a lot of information, I mean a LOT!
Of course there is the official Star Wars site , and Star Wars even has it’s own Wiki! I think it’s interesting to note that Cody is a Clone that was instructed to formulate his own opinions and not be, well…clone-like. Seems to go against the whole “being a clone” thing, doesn’t it?
Anyway, what I have learned about Commander Cody is that his Halloween costume was way too difficult for me to locate. I don’t know why I didn’t just shop online last year. SO. MUCH. EASIER!
We couldn’t find the Deluxe Commander Cody Costume last year, which was the version my son really wanted. We wound up getting the regular Commander Cody Costume, which was still very nice , but the Deluxe is better . For example , the helmet on the Deluxe Commander Cody costume is way nicer as it’s really more a helmet than a mask like on the regular costume. The body armor of the Deluxe costume is alsocooler than the printed jumpsuit, too. Trust me though , if your son really wants to be Commander Cody, either costume works! Have a happy and safe Halloween!
