Film editor visits High Wycombe school

STUDENTS were given an insight into the movie world during a school visit by children’s film editor and animator Mark Soloman last week.

Mr Soloman, whose credits include Shrek, Shark Tale and Chicken Run, took part in a question and answer session at St Michael’s Catholic School.

The year 13 students’ film club, part of the BAFTA Into Film education charity, has seen students interview The King’s Speech actress Helena Bonham-Carter and also attend a glitzy preview of The Young and Prodigious movie.

It marks a busy couple of weeks for the Daws Hill Lane-based school, which received a visit from Wycombe Mayor Cllr Khalil Ahmed, who praised pupils for their fundraising efforts for the Little Princess Trust and CAFOD charity.
