When it comes to online TV shows and movies, I am probably one of the biggest fans around. I actually tend to just use the web for watching movies and TV these days. I think that in a few years from now, we will only have the option of watching movies online. The following are just some of my predictions in terms of what is going to happen with online movies and TV shows in the future
- I have a feeling that in the future, we will no longer go out and buy individual movies. There will be no more dvd collections except as a form of nostalgia. Most people in the future will probably have virtual movie collections instead. No matter where you are in the world, you should be able to access your virtual movie collection as it will be kept online. Collections like this would never get damaged.
- I don’t think pirated movies will continue to be a problem in the future. I’m sure the film industry is going to eventually realise that it will no longer be able to make the money that it used to. I believe that movies are going to be free universally but that the industry will still be able to make money from things like merchandising and advertising. In the future we will be able to watch any movie we like, whenever we like, and without spending any money or breaking the law.
- In the next few decades there will be a revolution in how we experience movies. The 3D movies that we see today will pale in comparison to the immersive movies that we should see in the future. Becoming a part of the action will probably be possible by slipping on a pair of high tech glasses. We will probably get to the stage where interacting with the movie characters will be entirely possible and there may even be games that we can play.
Since its inception, the word wide web has allowed us to take pleasure in such a number of things. We could shop, you can send emails, we are able to find information – and a lot more. Probably the most favourite thing to do though is free movies online.
