Are you a blu-ray fanatic that likes to find great deals? Black Friday is a good day to stock up on some amazing titles for just $5-10 per movie.

I often purchase blu-ray movies during the year when the movie has been in stores for a while because I know I can get it cheaper than the release price. Target, Best Buy, and Walmart all run $10-15 blu-ray specials, and every once in a while I’ll peruse the aisles and see if there is anything I’d like to add to my collection.

Below are some Black Friday blu-ray sales that were offered last year at really low prices, and we also guestimated what we expect to find this year as well.

Last year you may have been lucky to pick up movies like The Mummy, Night at the Museum, and Gran Torino for five dollars from Amazon. I know a lot of people that loaded up on blu-rays from Amazon last year for themselves and for stocking stuffers.

Best Buy advertised X-Men Origins, Taken, and Role Models for $9.99, while most of the titles Amazon advertised for $5, were also being offered by Walmart. In fact, the way it goes is Amazon just price matches the major retailers’ product offerings and prices.

I would expect to see big sales on collections like Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars this Black Friday, and for less than 10 bucks you’ll get action movies like Fast Five, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, and Thor. Now that 3D televisions have grown in popularity, I imagine we’ll see the cheapest deals on 3D Disney movies for around fifteen dollars.

Make sure to check out Black Friday ads for 2011 as they are leaked so you know what sort of blu-ray deals to expect. Pick up some favorites for yourself, and don’t forget your friends and family when shopping for holiday gifts.
