If there is one thing that would make any man run the opposite way, it could be the M word – marriage. Whether it’s his character or his trauma from past relationships; it really isn’t certain. But one thing’s for sure – YOU can do something to make him accept the whole concept of lifetime commitment.

Do you recall the film where Martin Short played the role of a wedding planner? The wedding on that movie surely wasn’t all about inexpensive wedding favors or a low-cost wedding reception. It featured a lavish wedding between the daughter of George Banks (played by Steve Martin), a man who had to manage obstructions as he had to end up being the Father of the Bride. The movie was a real success that a sequel just had to be filmed four years later.

· Ever After – a Cinderella-based tale featuring Drew Barrymore and Dougray Scott.
· The Wedding Singer – It was an Adam Sandler film which featured him as a wedding singer with Drew Barrymore as his love interest. This was such a well-liked movie that it finally turned into a stage play.
· My Big Fat Greek Wedding – a 2002 movie that told the story of a young Greek woman who fell in love with an American guy. This, naturally, kicks off her fight to make her family take this man in her life. Nia Vardalos is outstanding with her performance as the lead actress and John Corbett plays the guy who she fell in love with.
· The Wedding Planner – JLo was not someone who would suggest wedding favors under 1.00 as she takes the role of a professional wedding planner. Matthew McConaughey stars as Eddie, Jennifer Lopez’s love interest.
· Runaway Bride – must be the perfect date movie for the two of you as the role gets reversed when Julia plays the role of a traumatized bride-to-be.
· Only You – starring Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.
· Fools Rush In – an example of a whirlwind romance as Matthew Perry and Selma Hayek star together in this funny but touching film.
