Why Are We So Fascinated with Celebrities?

By in April 3rd 2011 No Comment »
Filed Under Movie Blog Tags: , ,

I don’t know if it is just me, but I really am not fazed when it comes to meeting people who are dubbed as celebrities, because I feel that we all are here to live life until we die . In my line of business, I speak and meet with celebrities all of the time, or I know someone that knows a celebrity that I may need to reach for a story or an interview, and in some strange way, other people get excited at the thought of me speaking to the ‘celebrity’ (as I put in quotes), but I often times show no excitement, because they truly are people just as we are. Here now, and may be gone tomorrow. I often tell the story about the time that I met the late rapper, Tupac Shakur. I had a huge crush on him, and not because of his music, but because I thought that he was handsome. In 1993, my chance came to meet Shakur while I was at a convention in Atlanta, Georgia, and anyone that knows me, knows that I am just not one that easily excites, but when the opportunity presented itself to meet him, I froze up, and complimented him on his teeth (which, by the way, was something that my friend never let me live down). After that, I vowed to never have a star struck moment again, and went back to realizing that though Shakur was a ‘celebrity,’ he still was no different than I was – it was an embarrassing moment to say the least.

So, I have said a mouth full in my initial paragraph, but think about it; remember the time that the publicity surrounding Vanilla Ice & MC Hammer was phenomenal. You were excited over MC Hammer or over Vanilla Ice, it just seemed as if their reigns would never end, but then, all of a sudden, they somehow weakened into the sunset, and became irrelevant, something that you could not have fathomed would ever occur for such ‘celebrities’ that were on top of their game within the music genre. Now they can use a press kit or EPK to help their public careers get back on track, as they need to now start their PR all over again. The point is that we sometimes get so inundated in the success of these people that we really forget to think about the fact that they are really no better than we are. Why do we care that Madonna is going to adopt another child – as there are many people that adopt children everyday? Why would someone pay a million dollars of a picture of some celebrity’s baby? We are in a recession, so spending that type of money on a picture seems idiotic to the laymen, but the reality is that, we as people live for the sensationalism of it all.

Are we trying to live through them because we are bored with our lives, or is it because we look at their success as a blueprint for us? What is the real reason that we are so fascinated with celebrities, because what is so important and intricate to remember is that they are only famous because of us –the supporters, the consumers, the fans. You are the reason that they have been labeled a ‘celebrity,’ so, in essence, you are famous, too.

Online TV, what helps make it so great? Individuals always ask just what tends to make watching TV online so great? In truth, episodes are screened one day late and you can’t often view live concerts. So what is the big deal, if you truly wished to see that live performance just go there personally to watch it. The major question with observing Free TV online is just what do I need to see and just when to see it? Well your favorite shows can be online constantly despite the time or date. The actual difficulty with this choice is that the volume is there, but the quality of every single TV program may not be so excellent.

So what you would like to perceive is everything on the TV also on the world wide web, perhaps no! Programs like the Oscar nominations, Superbowl, and NBA finals might not be available for you to see. What if you might possess anything via the internet TV? Truly one can now possess free internet TV just as long as you possess an world wide web connection. For this you will require an internet TV software. It is easy to search the Web to locate the most efficient world wide web TV software.

If you ever before wanted to see games and sports on the internet and live, there is the satellite tv for pc online, enabling you to view live TV. It is in fact going on Direct Internet TV. Far better yet, this is enjoying the positive aspects of satellite TV on pc. If you delay to view TV, there is often the likelihood of it happening that the episode won’t be aired again. Beware that all online TV programs aren’t cost-free, and in any situation can cost you a little rental fee. All in all the television cannot match up with the world wide web. Today, you’ve got all that you desire: satellite TV on pc or what we also term as satellite tv for pc online.

Just what tends to make online TV the far better choice? It’s the price! Cable TV can run you till $60 per month or two and this’s just talking simple cable. Online TV will only cost approximately $10 per four weeks and you’re not spending all your income on bogus equipment. Satellite TV costs you for upgrades and it is easy to simply go online and observe all the shows with out paying a premium. When it comes to upgrades we can leave it simple. Televisions are equipment driven, that can cost you quite a bit by the truth you can have to buy a entire new TV and system? And in actuality online TV only calls for a software, that can be downloaded from the World wide web.

So think about the possibilities. TV off the web can save you an average of $700 or far more a year, this’s a lot of income straight there. So make a sensible decision today and change to online TV and see TV live. Not that you are conserving quite a bit, but this’s almost a whole paycheck. Why go out and see videos at the live theater when it is possible to merely move to the internet and watch TV. Think of it as a different way to conserve income.

A survey of 1,000 U.S. people showed the fact that more of us than ever before are choosing to see TV programs on web sites instead of on a TV. For younger kids, a well-rounded 83% stated they watched some, most or all of their TV programming online.(http://mashable.com/2010/04/12/tv-online/). Which’s also crazier is the older adults are transferring to the new technology, ultimately creeping out of the hole to try something new.

Louis Vuitton – Monogram Boulogne and Monogram Miroir Collection

Louis Vuitton is a company known for its line of French fashion products. From their stylish handbags to their cool looking sunglasses, their line of items is respected greatly in the fashion world. In fact, the brand is so strong that the Louis Vuitton monogram was designed not just for style, but to prevent any counterfeits. It’s ironic that this famous brand also sports the most knockoffs. That just goes to show how recognized the brand name is.

Taking a closer look at the Louis Vuitton items, their winter show collection revealed the Monogram Miroir style of products. This style would breathe new life to the classic evening handbag such as the Alma and the Speedy 30. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Miroir products all share an eye-catching reflective gold or silver coating.

With an objective towards fashionable trends instead of practicality, these items aren’t for the unsophisticated. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Miroir collection is no exception. Highly known celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Scarlett Johansson can be seen with this famous brand. Various models and actresses have even lent their name and image to be used in marketing campaigns. Surely, a Monogram Miroir product will make you shine like a star, if you aren’t one already.

Being an older line of products, you probably won’t run into many Monogram Miroir products from the Louis Vuitton brand. But if you do some looking around, you’ll find that the prices can climb well into the thousands. Not only do you have to shell out a pretty penny for an exquisite item, but you’ll have to keep an eye out for counterfeit material as well.

The smallest bag of the Louis Vuitton Monogram Boulogne purse collection is the Little Boulogne. This bag is much smaller than the others in the collection at 7.5″ x 5.9″ x 2″ but is very versatile and great for on the go. The LV monogram pattern is featured in black jacquard satin. Black leather strap and reinforcements make the bag very elegant and usable for many occasions. The bag is also the only one of the collection to feature silver hardware, which looks great next to the black on black styling of the bag.

This collection is very modern and versatile for everyday use or a night out. The little Boulogne could be paired with jeans or with a little black dress. The styles of the larger bags would look perfect for a light lunch and walk in the park with a good friend. This bag is a classically designed Louis Vuitton and could be used for years to come. It is perfect for any age or taste. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Boulogne would also make a great gift. These traditional styles will be a timeless addition to your collection.

An Interesting Brad Pitt Interview

Each generation, Hollywood makes discoveries about certain people that are instantaneously turned into stars. There is no recipe for what makes one so grand, so popular and still interesting to the public. One such star has many great things going for him and will maintain his stardom for the rest of his life, it seems. An interesting Brad Pitt interview draws a lot of attention for lots of reasons.

The public is extremely interested in what goes on in his personal life. In truth, his romantic life has been quite tumultuous over the past few years. He has dated and been with some of the most popular women in Hollywood. And, being one of the most beautiful people, it makes it that much more interesting. Another thing that keeps the public interested is that he always tries to keep his privacy even under such conditions.

Rumors are always flying about the two of them and their often tumultuous relationship, or so go the reports. Often, there is the question of infidelity. In truth, the public is drawn in continuously.

He kept his silence when he was married to Jennifer Aniston and having an affair with Jolie. The two insist that nothing physical happened while he was still with his wife. Of course, everyone has their own opinion of what went on during and after filming “Mr. And Mrs. Smith”.

There are also rumors that surround them with regards to Pitt’s mother and her dislike or disapproval of Angelina. Such gossip seems to come up every so often. Much of this has to do with her blaming Jolie for the couple’s split.

In interviews, he’s always very willing to talk about the work that he does, such as movies. He is also extremely open to showing the humanitarian things he does, such as helping to rebuild New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. However, he steers clear of speaking openly about his personal life. No matter what he will answer in interviews, the public pays attention. This is true regardless of how they feel about him. Let’s not forget, his breakup with Aniston caused a lot of dislike.
